Premiere of Local Documentary to Launch Partnership with SkyBest    BOONE, N.C.—In partnership with SkyBest Communications, Inc., AppTV expands its programming to Ashe, Alleghany and Johnson (Tennessee) counties, as well as additional areas of Avery and Watauga counties. To celebrate the launch of its programming on SkyBest, Appalachian State University’s television station will hold an AppTV Comes to SkyBest event on July 14.

Four App Students Win Auditions to Host AppTV’s Original Program BOONE, N.C.– Four Appalachian students won panelist spots for the fall 2016 and spring 2017 seasons of “Sports Bar,” an original weekly program on AppTV. Rising junior Joey Boretti and sophomores Justin Leonard, Sam Brown and Jack Martin were selected after participating in open auditions held at Café Portofino on March 15, 2016.
