AppTV launched on May 26, 2015 with a full range of original programming, utilizing the production skills of Appalachian State students. The channel also features programs from NASA TV, Classic Arts Showcase, the National Science Foundation, and other sources.

Our original and acquired programming is telecast on SkyBest Channels 20 (standard definition) and 1020 (high definition) in Ashe, Alleghany, Avery and Watauga counties, North Carolina, and in Shady Valley, Tennessee; Charter Cable channel 198 in Watauga and Avery counties, North Carolina, and Johnson County, Tennessee; and channel 23.3 on App State's campus.

Our programs are also streamed 24/7/365 via www.watchapptv.com.
